Elite released a new recurve today ,its basically 18 in ilf riser with limb to make it 62 In long from dryad and it is nice.smooth ,fast ,quiet and dead at shot.

Seems pretty nice from the pics I've seen.  I've heard the price was $1299?  Will they sell just the riser alone?

I thought it was ilf ,but have heard few say it wasn't..I shot it but was so much going on I just glanced at it and looked like dovetails were on it.I'll spend more time tomorrow with it..but I've got some high end bows and it felt as good as any

After digging I see it is ilf bow,but they made dovetails to only match each other, not just any ilf limbs.but I know the trad world, and I'm sure guys will be putting those fittings on other limbs .
The limbs are in between a medium and long ,to make 62 in on 18 in riser.
With way bow feels would not need anything changed.I was impressed

Please post more info about this bow when you get it. I found nothing on it except a real short video about it, but that gave no close ups or specs. I love Elite and think they're a great company with awesome service, AND I am glad to see them enter the traditional world.

My only trepidation is the high cost, if that $1299 figure is right. Wooo that is a stiff price! Very interested in the limbs, if they do a non-ILF proprietary connection that would probably be a deal breaker for me.

But I am very excited to see them get into the trad world, maybe this will be successful and they will start offering some other recurve a in the future.......around 600-700 bucks.
God Bless
