Florida April Hog Hunt
« on: January 05, 2016, 10:54:00 PM »
I'm looking for suggestions as to where to hunt hogs in the general area between Orlando and Sarasota Florida. Hoping someone can recommend an outfitter they've got experi nice with. I'm not even sure this area lends itself to this.
Thanks in advance for the input.

Good luck, I am trying desperately to book a hog hunt (for at least 3 days) for mid Feb.  I have been calling all up and down the east coast and it seems like all the good places are booked months in advance.

I dont know an outfitter for you but I grew up and spent most of my life in Bradenton Florida about 2 miles from Sarasota line.  I can tell you from time in the woods and just living in the area we have an abundance of hogs and I think the area does lend itself to this.  Good Luck to you.

Killed a 140#er last nite hunting with Irv at True South.  Highly recommend him.

Thanks Rick,

Glad you and Andrew had a good time.

I know I did.

We are 6 for 6 now, a real good start this year.

Have some room for later in the season.

I will try to get some pictures on here soon.

Real nice hogs too.

Smallest one was about 125# and biggest a shade over 200.
