Thinking of purchasing a longbow from Joel Templin @ Jet bows. Any one know how these bows shoot,quality of craftsmanship etc.Thanks for your help.

Have several Jets...
Joel is a great guy and a true craftsman. I think his finish work is as good as anyone.
He is a hunter and a true Hill fan.
I prefer his models with less backset myself.....

Now the choice will be 35-40 shafts with a 145 head or a 40-45 shaft with a 160 head, that is providing the bop is no more than 26". Just my starting guess. That one has a bit of reflex, you may be looking at 145 on 40-45 shafts.

Thinking of ordering the test kit from Wapiti. Looks like all the spine issues will be covered.I guess bare shaft tuning is not done with woodies.

I have one of Joel's bows. It's the wolverine model and it shoots great . You'll love your bow.
