Like any bow, the personal grip is primary.
The Black Widow is a premier bow.
Noting Black Widow's numerous and primary attributes is pointless unless it has been ascertained that an amicable accommodating personal grip match has been identified.

I have a MA11 that I have had since the early 90s and a PSAX that is a 2008, both are fantastic bows to shoot.if
If I could only have one bow to shoot for the rest of my life it would be a Black Widow hands down.

Thanks for the info, Guys Sorry if my question raised some eye brows. I'm definitely going to be using their test drive program. I have my eye on a PSA Greenleaf. But we will see when the time comes. Thanks again and I'll let you know what I end up getting. Take Care

Do not neglect to shoot a PL longbow...mine is about 5 pounds heavier and a couple of inches shorter than I really ought to shoot (I bought it used) and I still consider it to be a great bow

Overpriced, no personal touch by the bowyer, so I had written off Black Widow bows. Then I found a used PLX with Yew core in my specs. at Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear. I shot that bow on three different days against some of my other bows because I just couldn't believe I liked a Black Widow that much, but I do, and I bought it.

I thought I wanted to buy a new longbow until I made a trip to their shop the other day.
I shot every bow they make, and I'm pretty set on owning a PCH now.
I always felt like I shot my Bear Montana and Hoyt Dorado pretty well, but I didn't realize how confident I could feel with a bow until I shot their PCH.
To top it off, Roger was as kind and helpful as he could be! He showed me the whole shop, answered all my questions, and just shot the breeze for a while - first-rate!
