Getting a new string for super ghost and I am wondering what the starting knock height should be.

Most of my bows seem to be between 9/16 and 11/16, so starting at 1/2" would make sense. Also Ryan's adjustable nock makes tuning easy. There is a link to his video in the How to section.

Like said above, start at about 1/2" high, and tune till you figure out just where it needs to be.

I agree, except I like to head in the other direction. I like to set the nock height a little too high and adjust it down until the nock-high condition goes away. Final height is probably going to be as suggested above - although its usually 5/8" for me. Sloppy release? Probably.

Almost always ends up at 5/8" for me also.
