split to three under

I'm in the midst of switching and was wondering. How long did it take you to convert and get to the same accuracy levels or better than you were?  I am going on a Elk hunt in September and wanted to make sure I'm not messing up switching now.

You'll have plenty of time to get used to 3 under by then. If you get a shot at an elk though, just remember to check and make sure you grip the string 3 under, and don't revert to split in the excitement of the moment.  DAMHIK!

My switch to 3 under happened pretty quickly.  Actually,  accuracy improved immediately but it felt weird.  But I could pull more weight,  hold longer and aim better. I didn't like giving up control of the nock though. I still shoot split with my longbows because I cant the bow more and can get my eye closer to the arrow. Still shoot my curves 3under but I hold the bows much vertical.

I switched and like it better. My groupings were better right away also. It took me a bit to change my point of impact. I was hitting way low when I first changed, and I just kept shooting and I guess my brain just made the change. I don't know if some people change their anchor and try to adjust for this. I tried to change anchor to make myself hit higher, but it just felt weird.
