Deep Cored Longbows
« on: September 08, 2021, 10:34:34 AM »
Can someone explain to me what the definition is of a deep cored longbow. I've seen it stated a few times and I'm not sure what that means. Thank you in advance
Pete

It means that the limb core is thicker than those on recurves.  I think normally because more laminations are used. The limbs on such bows are narrower than recurves but thicker.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.
