HEARTLAND CUSTOM BOWS
« on: February 09, 2016, 08:32:00 PM »
I just want everyone here to know about Cory Engert and Heartland Custom Bows.
A few days before Christmas I decided I deserved a present and I had seen some reviews here. An email to Cory resulted in the purchase of his own hunting bow. The quality of the man is matched by the quality of his work. He bent over backwards to see that I had the bow for Christmas (couldn't put it under the tree for the wife to see but I came close). His concern for the entire process was amazing.
The bow is his take-down hybrid longbow and it is a joy to shoot. Quiet as a mouse on the beach and forget the concept of hand shock. I get in trouble every time I practice with it because I can't put it down so I end up late for dinner or a meeting.
Do not hesitate to track this talented bowyer down and order with confidence.

Cory's bows rock. I love my Pulse. Nicest shooting bow I've shot. Super smooth, quick and quiet and a great feeling grip. Very nice guy to deal with.

Cory's bows are hard to beat. Shoots a heavy arrow with authority and as has already been said very smooth and no hand shock. I own a one piece, a three piece takedown and have a two piece takedown on order. Can't wait to give it a go! Dave

I just demo one of Cory's Pulse 1 piece longbows. It shot AMAZING ! Best grip I've ever felt on a longbow ! It was Quiet, Smooth and Fast. He's a pleasure to deal with and will treat you right. When I get a family issue taken care of, I will be ordering a bow from him

I have become a BIG fan of Heatland Custom Bows.  Here is one of Cory's latest creations.  3 pc. Surge, Zebrawood riser with green accent stripe, green glass on back and more Zebrawood on belly side.  A great shooting bow to say the least.  Full review and better pics coming when I have more time.

If you have not shot one, I recommend it!!   :archer:

I have a Surge coming next week. Got on Cory's build list 12/18 and now he is shipping her today 2/12, great build time. He has been excellent to work with as we progressed thru the process. If the bow shoots as well as the process I am in for a treat. Here are some pics Cory sent while she was getting sprayed to wet my appetite. Bocote riser of course, black glass. A little more rounded riser than Jack's.

Guss and Mick I'll try to get some 1 piece bow bow pics posted, I also will be sending some stock bows to Terry down at The Nocking Point in the next month or so, swing by and fling a few arrows. I'm going to try to have some bows to him by the El Reno shoot in OK and for sure will have some to him when he goes to the big shoot in Houston.

Cory's booth is always next to mine at Comptons.

I always look forward to chatting with him.

Super nice fellow and good looking bows.

Great to see they are catching on.

Hello Irv, thanks! I always enjoy shooting the breeze with ya up in Michigan.

Mark, unfortunately I couldn't make the Denver show, with orders and work I don't have the time. I will however be at the High Country shoot in June. Hope to meet some new folks then.
