Very sad news. I was fortunate enough to meet Izzy and hunt bunnies with he and his sons at the JLMBH several years ago. We was a gracious man and an excellent shot. May he rest in peace and may his son and family have peace in their hearts.

Like so many of you other Trad-Gangers I was fortunate enough to have been around IZZY quite a few times,TG Bunny Hunts in NY,Muzzy Shoot,Denton Hill as well as PMing back and fourth along with both being a fan of PAUL SCHAFER.The last interaction Izzy & I had I sent him some pictures of Paul Schafer which he really enjoyed. He was a solid gentlemen with some old school values. As it has been said over & over in this post he will be missed, but not forgotten.Hopefully his son Noah will continue on with what he & his father loved Archery & Bowhunting.

Hate hear about this. I never had the opportunity to meet him. Praying for his family.

Man what a punch in the gut!  I only knew Izzy from his posts and pics but always admired him.  I'm so sorry for this loss and will be praying for his family and close friends... please comfort and strengthen them Lord.

What a shock.  We were in contact this week as I bought a bow from him that is supposed to be here tomorrow.  I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person but I always got the feeling that we would have hit it off.  Rest in peace.

Terrible thing to lose one of our own and even worse for his family. May God hold his family tight to ease the pain.

We will be turning our efforts to do something for the Surviving son.

He's going to need some help for sure to deal with this on many levels and I feel that we could do something somehow to help.  Not sure just yet how or what, but we'll be thinking about options.
