should i be concerned
« on: February 19, 2016, 04:36:00 PM »
purchased a bow from a gentleman in Texas. no problem great guy to deal with. the problem is the bow has been in the same usps sorting facility for 4 days. I tried to contact usps but only computer and it only gives me the same info I get on line. I have contacted the sender. What else should I do?

I have had this issue before. Go online and file a report. They have gotten me my bow quickly after the report on both occasions that this happened.

Best of luck!

I agree with the above statement, and the postal service is really bad about updating it's tracking,so it may still be on the way.

UPS and USPS are two different animals, but that being said, UPS "gathers" parcels and ships them to USPS offices.

The UPS sort facility is where they gather and decide which parcels go to each USPS general mail facility that day.

Once it hits your own PO, it should be in your mitts within 24 hours.

I've had the same problem and just about ready to find out who to report the problem too when it shows up! Hope that's the same for you.

I've had a similar problem before, the package may have been damaged in shipping or address on package might be wrong?I sent a money order in a Priority mail envolope for a bow,and the tracking showed it was in a sort facility for 12 days.It finally showed up and the seller said it looked like it had been ripped and taped back together.

I received a package yesterday that had not been updated since 2/16 until yesterday when it was updated to "delivered"

You might get the bow today,

Good Luck
