My cresting is not as sharp as most. Partly because no matter how straight your wood shafts look, the crester will show that they have a bit of wobble.
Here are two sets I just completed. The green ones are for spring turkey and are made up of poplar shafts that I spun out on a Veritas. Should have made the green ones less colorful for turks, but I got carried away.
The pink ones are from Acme 23/64 shafts that I thought I had used all of but came across 11 of them in a dark corner. For fall big game if I don't break em, lose em, or otherwise discombobloate em before then.
They are spined 70# but I tapered the rear 10 inches and that tamed them down.
