Skinning a Savannah?
« on: March 23, 2016, 06:33:00 PM »
I have a Martin Savannah that has developed "cloudy clear glass" on the front (ok technically the back) of limbs. Im looking for somebody to skin that side of the Limbs...any recommendations? I live in Michigan

Onestringer has the Limbsations that look great and are very easy to apply. The Limbsations look great and come in a variety of snake and wood options....

There is a good DIY thread on here as well. I tried skinning a bow and for some reason the skins looked cloudy in spots. It is Onestringer for me next time I get the itch.

I don't believe you can use tanned skins but you can skin the snake fletch it out and dry it then use it. But I may be wrong about the tanned skin.
