New shoot and vendors
«

Here in Wi, Oconto River Bowmem will be holding its first trad shoot, i posted all the particulars in trad events. My question for people who run some of these trad shoots, how do you get vendors, do you call vendors in your state and surrounding areas and invite them? Or do you just hope some get wind of the shoot and just come.

We used to send shoot flyers to know trad dealers in the area. We also posted our shoot with the State organization, CBH in Ca.,
I also sent shoot flyers to shops in 150 mile radius. The intention was to get shooters but of course vendors interested would contact us. Trying to get the big guys would be a challenge as they want to see lots and lots of people. You do have an advantage being in Midwest. Although there is a FITA shoot at our local range that has a large retailer present each year.

Thanks M60, flyers sounds like a great idea. I am sure it will be hard getting vendors to a first time shoot.
