LONGBOW VS RECURVE BRACED LENGTH

HI EVERYONE,IM A LONG TIME RECURVE SHOOTER.IM LOOKING TO PICK UP A USED LONGBOW,LIKE A MOHAWK,IVE HEARD NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS ABOUT THEM.ALL THE RECURVES I HAVE ARE 64INCHES,IVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE LENGTH,SHOOTING STANDING,SITTING OR IN A TREE STAND.MY BOWS WHEN BRACED ARE 60INCHES TIP TO TIP,WHAT WOULD A MOHAWK OR SIMILAR LONGBOW OF 64 OR 66INCHES LENGHT BE WHEN BRACED?   THANKS    JOHN

String groove to string groove, a longbow will generally be 3.5 to 4 inches shorter when strung than  its stated length.   Many recurves that are 60" long can have a string about the same as a 66" longbow.  Some 64" recurves like the longer Super K will have a string angle similar to a 68 to 70 inch Hill style bow.  Bows like Mohawks like to be to canted more, that often takes any greater length completely reasonable to manage.

Thanks Pavan,my 64inch recurve,string groove to string groove is 59inches when strung,60inches tip to tip.If I understand you,a 64inch longbow when strung will be 1 to 1.5inches longer than my strung recurve,a 66inch longbow would then be 3to3.5inches longer when strung.I didn't want to get a bow that was to long to handle.  Thanks for your help    John
