Black River Bows, how do they perform?
« on: May 18, 2016, 04:23:00 PM »
OK I saw the new sponsor Black River Bows and went to his website. They are great looking bows, but what I would like to know can anyone tell me how they compare in performance to other bows such as Widows, Blacktails, Schafers, Tall Tines, etc. etc.

Thanks, Louis

I have one of his hybrid longbow and it shoots great and has a great cast! I've owned 3 of the 4 you listed above and currently have 2 Schafer's along with the Black River. The Black River is lighter weight than the Schafer's but the point on is the same even thought it's lighter and that's with the same arrow. I plan on getting a set of recurve limbs from him soon! You won't be disappointed, they shoot as good as they look!
