If so, can you tell me about it? How are it's manners, grip, quietness, etc. Thanks, Eric.

I love mine. Very accurate, well mannered and forgiving. Mine was made in 2015 Feb. The grip is pretty comfy at least to me and a few other fellas who tried it out. Quietness is pretty much on par with my toelke whip, but at a different tone because of the bamboo core. Finish is flawless.
What I want to point out is that the last few inches of draw is exceptionally smooth (mine is ~2# from 28 to 29"). The bow has quite some preload which may take some getting used to.
I assume you are talking about his RD one piece longbows. I'm actually planning to get on his list for a bullwhip hill style sometime towards the end of the year.

Thanks Danshao. It is the R/D bow I'm looking at. What length did you go with?

I hate mine...it spoiled me the first group I shot out of it. I love bow trading and it put and end to any r/d quest.
No reason to shop for another r/d longbow.
Seriously, it is that good.
If you pm me an email address I'll be glad to send pics.
I don't remember the woods, I just asked Ken to do his thing.
I have 3 Phoenix's and this bow is on par with his recurve.

I had 27" dl so went with 64", now it's grown (i tweak my form whenever I can) more than 28" and I'm still shooting it without problems. I think the max dl for 64" is 29" on his website.
I also really like the shape when strung. There is only a slight hint of rd when strung which to me is very elegant since I'm more into the D shaped strung profile.
Here's what I did today with the whippenstick longbow at 28 yards first time seriously shooting gaps, with some luck of course
