Had an anticipated box sitting on the porch when I got home this afternoon. Last year, I ordered a Trinity Falcon from Edward Boyd at trinity longbows. After hunting with the bow for a year I sent it back to Edward to be refinished (after I put it through the ringer in the woods this year) and to install inserts for a side-mount quiver. Edward was extremely personable and helpful through the ordering  process and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the refinish. I also want to give a shout-out to Don Ward at Eagle's Flight Archery who custom made a side-mount quiver for me and shipped it out in record time. I hope the pictures that follow will give information to those considering either of these items. I know I searched high and low, while inquiring about this quiver, for an online picture of an EFA side-mount quiver mounted to a bow and came up empty. This should help with that search for someone in the future.

The bow is Edward's Journeyman model and has a bubinga riser with bamboo limbs and black glass. Its 60" 50# @29.5" Its smooth, quiet, and throws a heavy arrow with authority. I also had him commemorate my grandmother with this bow by including her initials and the words "He tells me I am his own" on the upper limb. It was a line from her favorite hymn and one that reminds me of her and brings me joy when I read it.  I'm terrible about selling bows and always wanting to move on to something else....After shooting the bow for a year, I knew it was a keeper and making this bow personal was something I wanted to do to insure I did not sell it in a moment of stupidity while chasing the "greener pastures" of another bow.

All in all, I couldn't be happier with the bow, quiver, or the customer service from those I ordered them from. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful tribute
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.

I've shot side by side with Edward several times and when that happens bows are always traded back and forth. That falcon is a sweet shooting bow! I was planning on getting one myself until Dan Tolke made me an offer I couldn't turn down!

Thanks for the kind words. I have really been impressed with this bow's performance compared to my back-up i was shooting in it's absence. I haven't put it through the chrono yet but thats coming soon.

Also, I should mention that a pic of the bow was sent to Don at EFA in hopes he could match my quiver to the bow. I'd say he nailed it.

That's a fine looking bow Richard, and thanks for letting us help outfit you with the quiver. It looks like that you are ready to go to the woods with it. Good luck!

I can highly recommend Edward Boyd... His craftsmanship is top notch and he is a straight to the point sort of guy...
