I have made about 12 fiberglass laminated recurves, all but 2 of them have been made by laminating my limbs first and then gluing and wrapping them between the handle and riser. These bows are good shooters but lack the speed that I feel they should have, shooting a 525 grain total weight arrow 150-160 fps at 50-57# @ 29". These bows have all been 55-53" ntn with the most recent one being 59" ntn. If I changed my current design only by gluing my handle/riser between my laminations, would I see an increase in performance?
