I had one years ago. It was real quiet and pretty sure it had a B50 string on it. It was too long for me so I didn't keep it long.

I have had several.......good solid hunting bows.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I really enjoy shooting mine, its 66in 49@28. Its made from arroya wood. Its really quiet, this is my second year with it. I couldn't shoot it last year, I had a bone spur on my left elbow that tore tendons. Had surgery March 2015 and just in the last five weeks able to start shooting again. I look forward to hunting season with it.

If you do a search for them you will find lots of information. I shot a pretty nice buck with a Mahaska longbow last season.
Pick a spot and concentrate!

I've owned 3 Mahaska bows over the years. One was a flat bow that I built for me It stated out 57 @28 I sent it back to Ken to have a couple of pounds taken off. Second was a 60 @ 28 recurve. The last one was a longbow that was 48 @ 28 that I sold to ron w.

All were great shooters and bows that I miss but old age forced me to sell them. The Flatbow was always and forever has been my favorite.
