Bought this vintage hat today
« on: July 14, 2016, 02:23:00 PM »

This is the best place I could think of to get info on it. I paid very little for it. It's not really my style but it looked like it was worth more than what I paid. It's a Willis and Geiger. Apparently it comes from the mfg with the real Zebra band. Can't find much about it online but have found a few that have sold. Wondering who it would appeal to and what the value might be on the auction site.

I like it, but zebra has been overdone by Nugent.  Giraffe would be nice.

I agree, I don't like the Zebra but I hate to remove it because, apparently, it came from the mfg that way. Looks like a collector has already found my youtube video.

That is a heck of a hat and a beautiful classic.  I wish it would have been my size and I would have  taken it off your hands. The zebra band is a classic and don't be intimidated by the ridiculous TN bit. If nothing else leave it as a display.

7 1/8?

I guess you can call this a "pick". I bought it for $12 and posted the video on youtube. Apparently a collector found it via search and I sold it to him for $55 less than 30 hours after uploading it. Killy, at 7 1/8 it fit me perfect so I was OK with keeping it, plus it would have embarrassed my kids to wear it.

I came across two vintage plaid shirts today in a Goodwill. Both were in pretty good shape. Size Large. I'm XL.  :(
