Delta Quiver - various attachment systems?
« on: July 20, 2016, 08:22:00 PM »
Are various styles of Delta Quivers still made?  I know some of the sponsors sell the Bear style for riser inserts, but I was really wondering if a takedown attachment system is still available?

Anyone else?  I like the look and arrow capacity of the delta style quivers but would rather have a strap on style, or take down bolt on.

From my own experience you are better off just buying a new one. I have a couple of these quivers and trying to find bracket parts is like pulling teeth. I've been fortunate that a fellow trad hunter gave me some. 3rivers sells the foam and grippers, but no brackets. I've checked with Bear, Delta, Wes Wallace, G. Fred Asbell, etc... with no luck of finding new brackets.

Based on what I'm seeing online - it looks like the only option is the bear style riser insert model.  Seems like any other option is gone unless you come across one in the classifieds.

Making brackets for different applications is very easy. I've made them for both side mount and limb mount for Delta and Wing quivers. Make them, paint black and install. Tweaking them is very easy also.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!
