Elk Hunter tease
« on: July 23, 2016, 03:35:00 PM »
My son was out camping last week in a location we have hunted a couple of times and got within 30 yards or so of a few bulls.

Wish I could go this year but looks like it will have to wait until 2017.

Those critters somehow know your intention! I have experienced it with mule deer, antelope, and even the lowly eurasian dove.

Headed up to scout a new location Tuesday. Hope the monsoon pattern stays weak or moves out for a couple of days, I hate scouting in stormy weather, not so bad if you can actually hunt

We flat-landers love to see that kind of stuff!

Thanks for sharing!
