I bought a X Block sharpener recently, and I would like to hear from those who use it. Probably should have asked this before I bought it..., but give your opinions on it.

Have seen them but never used one. What do you think?

I have all the sharpening bh systems of the market ans I like the convenience of the X block. Very dependable for 2 blade, not so easy for a single bevel. Decent for small, medium 3 blade. A little too narrow for the big 3s

I'm going to try it with some Zwickey 'No Mercy' 2 blades. Should work very well.

Had one, used it a couple of times, the diamond blades were great, I didn't care for the way they attached to the block, Velcro. It kind of seemed to me that if you didn't keep the same amount of pressure on each stroke, everytime, the Velcro had enough give it would never be a consistent edge. Got rid of em and went back to solid stones.
Thanks,

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!
My good friend Rudy Bonser, while hunting elk up Indian Creek.
