Congratulations,
I'm sure you will love them both.
I have a lot of bows (shame on me I guess) and I had to have a Toelke for my collection, so one day I called for a chat with Dan.
I liked a Pika he had in stock and ordered it.
The fact that I have a lot of bows does not reflect that I am on a continual search for the perfect one to cure all my shooting flaws...it simply means that this is a great age of resurgence in traditional archery and there are SO MANY talented bowyers out there today. Looking at all that craftsmanship hanging on the rack is awesome to me.
I know that if I had to, I could force myself to shoot just one and become comfortable and skilled with it.
I will be doing a lot more admiring and no shooting for a few months (I hope)while I rehab from rotator cuff surgery.
I wont be happy till I own a bow from every bowyer...HaHA.
Even though I just took possession of a new Holm Made Osprey, I'm waiting my turn for a Dwyer Endeavor and dreaming of ordering a Northern Mist Baraga.
Please enjoy all of yours and may you never have to shoot just one. :D
I will say this about the PIKA...it is one of the few bows I own that needed no special adjustments in shooting form for me. Just used Dan's recommended arrows, picked it up and shot it.
He told me it is an amazing little bow and he was right.
