I was going to let everyone know that I have discontinued the use of d97.  It has nothing to do with the string material, but everything to do with my customers and me.  

Since February 2016, I have only made 15 D97 strings and have made nearly 20x as many BCY X strings.  I feel that "X" is a better material than D97, but ultimately it is discontinued because of lack of orders for it, which is fine with me!        

Due to the major difference in diameter, swapping between X and 97, I would have to use 2 different jig lengths to get the same length strings, so this has made things more simple on me as well.
