Video of my Practice session today ground/treestand
« on: August 18, 2016, 02:02:00 AM »
Today is the day I decided I need to start practicing  more often as hunting season is right around the corner. I wanted to video tape my shooting so  I could compare to how much i improve by the season starter. (its not like I wasnt shooting at all this summer, just not as much as I should of been).
Here is the video of my practice session 55 arrows from ground and tree stand.

Those those heavy front arrows?

Longtoke, Yep that is my set up I have at the house.

Dave,
Yes those are the 700 grain arrows with double inserts and 30% foc. I love love love that arrow set up. Flies like a dart and hits with authority.
Shot from my 57# bow.

Im really glad I took the time to video tape the session. I have watched it a few times and slow motioned each of the shots. I see alot of flaws to work on!

Trajectory isn't bad for that much weight...course, 57# makes up for a lot of ills!

Surgeon told me yesterday be another 2 mos before I can pull bow after shoulder surgery...Wow but he's conservative!  :(

Thanks for sharing this, I ordered a Baraga at the GLLI last week so the wait is on. This video gives me something to watch for the next 5/6 months. I had a Baraga a few years ago and sold it ( dumb move ) since then I have bought a Whisper from Steve. At the time I couldn't decide which one to order so now I will have one of each.
