Sharpening 2 blades

I been shooting simmons safaris for years and could never get them sharp to my satisfaction.
Thats what friends are for I guess.
Well that has changed and I am blown away satisfied so I want to share.
I bought a jewel stik and a razorsedge air guide.

I don't know about 3 blade but for 2 blades this works! Straight or curved.

Man I wish I had this 30 years ago!

I use lansky, and just recently a work sharp. I'm new to trad but not stingers, zwickie, magnus or any other 2 blade.  The work sharp is amazing.works better than advertised and I can sharpen 6 heads in less than 10 mins.

I've been using the jewel stick for a couple years now....  It can flat get those heads SHARP!  Glad to hear that others are using the same method..

Every single thing in my house gets sharpened with a 3 sided jewelstik.  I used to use the razors edge guide, very effectively.  After a while I developed a feel and no longer use it, with the same effectiveness.  I use it to finish my three blades after starting on a file as well.  It stays in my pack anytime I'm in the field for touch ups.  A fantastic product,

I beg to differ, but the only thing that is easy for me to sharpen is a pencil, and then only if I have an electric pencil sharpener!!!!!!

I'm with bisch on this. I have not had much luck in the shapening department.
I have seen many threads over the years..
All I can tell you is I ran out of hair on my arm pretty fast and talk about easy.

I use the method Chris Spikes put on youtube. It makes every blade I own razor sharp. And it's so simple. Time consuming in the beginning....but simple.

I use the 3 Rivers Hollow Ground Sharpener that has the two round files in a jig on my Zwickey Eskimo's. I then take it to the ceramic stick. Sharp enough for me with my skill set. My dad is a knifemaker, but I did not inherit his sharpening skills.

Easy as a $6.00 Rada. A buddy put me on to these sharpeners. You need to give it a try. Had a difficult time with Simmons Interceptors. Watched a few Ytube videos but way too time consuming. This Rada takes about one minute max.

Ive tried a bunch of different ways, a 6 inch file is easiest to me. I can carry it in the field too. If sharpening VPA or woodsman though I need a little bigger file as I like laying those flat. I am not good at going across the two edges with the 6".
