Thought id share my latest advancements in my pre-season piddling. An arrow company makes arrows with white strips on them so you can tell what kind of blood is produced on the hit. As we all know, what the blood on the arrow looks like can tell us bowhunters quite a bit. I liked the idea, but not crazy over the arrows.
That brings me to this evening. I got to thinking about it, and put some strips of white wrap left over from wrapping some new shafts. I strategically placed the bottom of the strip 8" up the shaft from the end of the BH, that is because if blood doesnt make it that high i know im in trouble.
I have pretty good eyes being young, but red on that pink shaft doesnt show up to well, and i know that others on here like my dad and best friends dad have trouble seeing red anyways, so any little bit helps.
Anyways, just figured id share, maybe somebody will think its cool as well and try it. I also felt compelled to come up with a sophisticated sounding name as i have to debate with left leaning professors and students at college everyday, therefore i constantly find the need to at least "sound" smart. lol.
