Im about to be ordering new arrows and I don't want to make a mistake. Here are the factors.
-My full draw is a little over 31 inches, therefore cutting arrows is not an option. example below is a 32in full GT trad 340

-
My arrows are showing just "slightly" weak with a 200gr point which puts total weight at 559 grains.
-my bow is 50 pounds at 28in so I must be pulling just under 60lbs Therefore I am under 10GPP.
-I want to be somewhere in the 11-12 GPP with a decently high FOC. HOWEVER, I only hunt GOATS, PIGS, and smaller animals.
_My bow shoots very smooth and quiet even with the sub 10 GPP arrow
-Im using the GT insert weights to tune.
My questions are the following.
- Im I going overkill aiming for a high FOC, 11-12 GPP arrow setup? I want my arrows to be as deadly as possible but for goat sized animal? maybe overkill.
-Will I gain spine stiffness by moving to the CX heritage 350 shafts? therefore letting me use my GT insert weights and gain more FOC and overall arrow weight.
do the GT weights even work with CX inserts?
-I know that CX Heritage are slighlty longer at 32 3/4 inches. Maybe I can cut them to 32in and be able to add weights to the insert. will the 3/4 inch be significant enough to add say 50 to 100 gr.
BASICALLY
SHOULD I stick with GT trads and a 200 gr point or should I get CX heritage and tune for more GPP and FOC?
WIll it be worth the extra cost?
