Buddy's selfbow buck
« on: October 24, 2007, 08:10:00 PM »
My buddy shot a spike horn today with a hickory selfbow that was part of a live tree 3 weeks ago. It pulls about 48# at 28". I lent him some books and a video and he went right after it. Got complete penetration with a full length cedar arrow and 135 grain Zwickey Delta. Guess it can be done!  :clapper:

Well, he has a camera and no computer, i have a computer but not smart enough to use and post. I think it is so cool to think you don't have to wait forever to build and shoot a selfbow.
