Back to shooting
« on: September 02, 2016, 09:39:00 AM »
getting old , cancer , hart problems have had me not shooting much . I have shoot only 2-3 times in the last 2 years . I have been shooting my Covert Hunter at 40 -42 lb the last few weeks but event that low weight hurts my back and shoulders . I seat up a Morison ILF with hex6 seat at 36-38 this AM and will shoot that for a few weeks . Md. hunting starts on the 9th , but I dont hunt much until mid October and I like hunting in Nov. dec . and January after the Rockfish fishing slows down . It sucks to be old and week ( sick ) At one time I shoot 70+ lb , then 60 +/- , 50 -55 for a long time and now below 40 . I am thank full that I can at lest be out there hunting and fishing . Good lock to all .

Good to see you keeping your chin up, Ring.  Best wishes this season.

I realize this sounds sacrilegious, but, if you have to go to an Xbow in order to get out there and hunt, then do it.
