"Weeping endured for the night"
« on: September 16, 2016, 09:48:00 PM »
But joy came this morning! The company I work for is moving us old veteran hands to a leased facility out of town to make room for a pile of new hires. I've done my share of pouting about the transition and have come to terms that I just need to suck it up. Well, today I learned that the I.T. group needs a 4 day weekend to move all our junk to the new building and as the Lord would have it, it's gonna happen on none other than opening weekend. Our first day out will be the day prior to opening which is perfect for scouting and camp set up. Kinda hate to follow the post about having to work on opening day. Isn't that unconstitutional?

I posted about working on opening day. It was the day after opening day when I posted that though. Shows how much I work. I'm getting out to the woods tomorrow though so I only missed 2 days of the season. As someone said it's only the beginning.

In today's world, having to move while still remaining employed, is about "due course"...

Nothing is sacred...

I'm glad you still have work...!

Be glad they moved you to a leased facility, instead laying you off or moving your job out of the country!!
