Very much the same as yours - in a small waist pack with a second pouch on the side.

waist pack - the "overnighter" for emergencies :
first aid kit, waterproof fire starter, windproof lighter, whistle, compass, space blanket, 2 heavy black garbage bags, 100' paracord, sierra cup, tea, sugar, candle, oatmeal, flashlight with spare batteries, note pad w/pencil, second knife.
- stool ties on outside, if I carry that day.

small leather pouch - the "daily" :
bow & arrow supplies / repairs, extra string, gloves if needed, water, snacks like beef stick, apple, cheese chunks, sourdough bread chunk, peanuts or cashews, ibuprofen, drag rope.

Pretty much the same as most.......for day hunts up north the phone stays in the truck, no service where I hunt. Just a small pack stropped to my Waldrop Pac Seat and off I go. A bow and 4-5 arrows.......good for the day.

...I don't bring food unless I'm elk hunting where I might be walking around a lot. For my stand hunting I have to watch what I eat and that means skipping lunch

Most of my hunting is near, often in sight of, my son's house, so I don't take much emergency stuff, mostly something for bee stings and snakebite, plus my cell phone. Navigation is no issue on a 65 acre plot, simply don't cross any creek, fence, or road. No food or water is usually needed, because I can stop at my son's house on the way out for a cooling drink. In short, I take my hunting gear and little else. However, on a hunt further from home I take a lot more stuff, especially in regards to emergency gear and water.

Sam nails it-depends on location.  If I'm out behind the house, I'll take a whistle and some marking tape for tracking, but if i'm up on the side of a mountain, I take emergency gear, a hunting knife and a piranta, fire starting stuff, food, water and some sort of purifier, and a light source of some sort.  Also a rain shell and balaclava.  And food..gotta have some "nosh"!

All depends on where I'm hunting. If I am at my brother's place and just a couple hundred yards from the truck I take very little. In an small fanny pack I will have my deer drag, flagging tape, knife some water and a snack. If I am on the state land I love to hunt which allows me to wander over some 17,000 acres I take a larger fanny pack with some other things that can come in handy in case I should suffer a little mishap that causes me to not be able to get back to the truck by dark. Then I add a small first aid kit, head lamp, fire starting kit, compass/gps and top map, some twine and a multi-tool along with a good quality space blanket. On colder days I'll throw some chemical hand warmers in there and maybe a thin wool watch cap. I also have a foam seat tied to the pack.
