The yearly conundrum

Every year I have the issue of picking what bow to make my primary hunting bow. Usually it ends up in a pros and cons debate with myself. This year is no different. I had to pick between my Nothern Mist Whisper, Classic, and Superior. After many weeks of shooting I'm going with the whisper as my primary. All of them will see hunts, but the whisper is definitely the one I shoot the most consistent. It's always been a natural shooter for me. I went to the lighter draw weight Classic earlier this year after a shoulder injury and had to push to get back to my usual weight. I'll be glad for the weather to cool so favorable conditions occur.
Which bow one the debate for everyone else?

I used my Rampart longbow for bear earlier this fall. Lately I have been shooting my Tall Tines, and am planning on using it in Oct/Nov.

Become a one bow man.  It makes life easier.  I only have to choose between a firearm and bow.  The vast majority of the time, that's an easy nod to the bow unless I have something sentimental running through my mind and pick up an old family gun.  I really enjoy bowhunting more.

I shot my pronghorn long bow exclusively for the two years. But...
One day during elk season I was over come by nostalgia and I carried my blackwodow long bow.

I can totally relate. For me it was a decision between my Whisper, Classic, and Two Tracks Echo.The stringfollow Echo won out. I have a sneaking suspicion that my Whisper will get a workout before the season ends. Good to have a long season in Michigan.

I solve that problem by only having one bow with a set of back up limbs. Why would anyone want to shoot a bow that is less accurate than one they can shoot well? Beware of the  man with one bow..he can probably shoot it very well.

My Bear Kodiak magnum recurve will be going to the woods. It has been with me a long time. As soon as I am comfortable with it the new Kanati longbow will be going.

Hmmmm.  I have it narrowed down to three-- a 60-inch Bear TD, an A 62-inch ACS TD and a 64-inch Liberty Chief longbow.  All about the same draw weight and shoot the same arrows. All will be equipped with bow quivers and arrows and ready to go.  I might sneak my Hill in as well.
