Glove repair kit?
« on: September 28, 2016, 12:41:00 PM »
I have a leather glove that I really love using but the stitching has came undone on one of the finger overlays and on the top seam.

Does anyone know of a good leather glove repair kit or what I would need to repair said glove?

I would like to be able to sew it back up and tighten where it started to open up at the one finger end.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If only the thread came loose find a very thin sewing needle and silk(or thin synthetic) thread and use the same holes the other stitching was in. A pair of needle nosed pliers will probably come in handy.

You can get needles and thread for a song at WalMart. Do as Pat suggested and you'll be fine.
