First trad hunt

Well I hunted for the first time today with trad gear. Didn't see a deer but had a good time. Just carrying a trad bow in the woods was an awesome experience. My dad shot his first in five years tonight with a compound, but I talked him into buying a longbow last week.

Awesome! That is what I enjoyed the most too when I began...not lugging that compound into the field
