CA Gene Foster 3D Shoot Nov. 13 - Yardage?
« on: October 25, 2016, 02:06:00 PM »
I went to the Gene Foster last year but only on Saturday to let my boys play around.  This year, we're planning to come on Sunday and shoot the course.  I haven't done much 3D so I'm curious about what kind of yardage to expect.  Although hunting distance is 20 yards max, my experience as a kid in my compound days was 30-50 yards on average for these kind of events.  What kind of yardage should I expect for this event?  Mostly 20-30 yards?  More than 30 yards?

I would say that most of the yardage will be less then 30 yards and a few around 40 yards. It's a great shoot and you will enjoy it. If you get a chance stop by and say hi.

It is one of the best shoots in Cali. I miss going to it.
