I just hope that he will be a voice of support in protecting our public lands. The push to privatize or delegate these lands to the states is a real danger to anyone that hunts public land. The wild places of this country are a piece of what has shaped our national character and once made us great. It would be a tragedy to let these lands fall into the hands of resource extraction companies rather than hunters like us carrying on a tradition of stewardship and survival from these beautiful lands.
