I've got one of Steve's Superiors and IMHO it's the best longbow I've ever shot and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Got a Baraga on order, too.

That is a beautiful Superior!  Steve does amazing work.  My Superior is my favorite longbow.

The Superior is my favorite of Steve's bow designs. I have one with red glass on both sides. It's the best shooting LB I've ever owned. I'm really starting to like that gray glass. I might have to get a few strips and try it out on my next build. I enjoy building my own but I'm light years behind Steve's work.

What type arrows are you guys using.I'm shooting 2014's with 125grs. and straight fetch 4" feathers. I'm going to switch to parabolic 4" helical. My BH is 6&7/8 with nock point 5/8s above 90 degrees.Bow weight is 50# @ 26" dl.Bow is smooth and quit, but the shield feather are a bit loud.

My bow is 66" and 51#@28" and I draw 27". I shoot 2016's with 125gr. 5" shields and same nock height as you.

I haven't taken the bow hunting. I used an old 52" Wing Thunderbird this year to hunt with. I do occasionally hunt with my longbows but I like the maneuverability of the 52" Wing.
