Hidden hunter blinds?
« on: November 30, 2016, 12:47:00 PM »
So has anybody heard from these guys? I have stated that I ordered a blind back in May and I had to call to find out that they weren't even producing them at the time. I gave them time because it was out of there control. I understood! (They should have called everybody on the waiting list to let them know what was going on!) Now I have called them twice recently with no answer and no call back! There costumer service is absolutely deplorable! I have to change my address for one thing and if this is the way they operate I would hate to send it back for a warranty issue!

I actually just received an email response a day ago that they hope to begin limited production again soon... they gave me no estimate of when I might be able to receive a blind, but they did respond. Maybe follow-up with an email?

What was the "issue"? Why are they no longer in production?

Calm down....the folks that own and operate Hidden Hunter are good folks. Like any small business, they are dealing with a production/material issue beyond their control.

With regard to "customer service"...as far as I know that would be 1 guy, Randy, who is also running the entire operation, including his sporting goods store in the UP. There is no one that just sits by a phone waiting for a call, this aint Cabelas. These are small business entrepreneurs scrapping to make a living.

I will contact them this morning and make them aware of this thread. Please chill on the negative comments.

As an aside....there is no other blind so well designed for the traditional bowhunter. They are worth the wait.

Agreed - I've spoken with them several times and they've been hampered by problems that took awhile to resolve/beyond their control. And they have always responded honestly to me even if it took awhile because they are a small company. That is the reason I've waited to purchase one of their blinds instead of a competitor's even though it's meant I've been without one this season. I like the company, people, and product and hope they get up & running on their blinds soon.

Thank you Roger for the info. Could you lets us know when and if they are back to production? Have been hesitant to place an order for a couple blinds with what I have been reading.
