Thunderchild weight reduction
« on: December 01, 2016, 09:30:00 PM »
Does anyone know if Big Jim does weight reductions?  I don't want to bother him with a phone call if anyone here knows for sure.

I don't know if he does or doesn't reduce draw weight, but I had a really nice conversation with him on the phone the other day.

He was kind enough to do a weight reduction on a bow he refinished for me. But, I got the impression he would rather spend his time making bows.

I have a heck of a time reducing weight as I can't pass up a doughnut or cookie..cake, candy...you name it.

Oh, your talking about bows ...   :)   Yes, If it is a bow of my make, I will put it through the jenny craig program.
Generally I can take them down about 3-5 lbs and on ocasion a couple more without affecting integrity. When you get it back, it will look like new or nearly so as it will have a complete facelift (full refinish is necessary).

Feel free to contact me for more info...I don't bite unless you hold on too tightly to the cookies.     ;)

Thanks for the info everyone and Big Jim, sounds like a phone call will be made and a bow with some cookies will be shipped.
