Black Widow PCH
« on: December 16, 2016, 08:14:00 AM »
I've been thinking of trying one of these since I need a more compact bow in my climber. The only question I had is about the sight window.

I had a PSA with the 4" sight window that worked great for my gapping style, but I was somewhat concerned that the 3" window on the PCH might not.

Any gappers out there with a PCH?

It shouldn't make a difference if you cant your bow

I don't really, more of an upright shooter.

Maybe you could put a small piece of tape on your 4" window at 3" and see what it's like. I suppose it'd be closer ranges you'd have issues with.

Call  Roger at BW and test drive one. That will answer your question.

Might have to do that, or just get another PSA.

I don't gap shoot, but I do shoot pretty much upright with my pch.  I haven't had any problems with the size of the sight window.  I really love my pch and have been pleased with everything about it.

I have both and I can't notice any difference as far as sight picture but I shoot more instinctive and cant the bow slightly. I do prefer the weight and feel of the PSA but that's just me. PCH is a good shooting bow and allows for a little shorter bow.
good luck

You should have no problem......I'm not a Widow fan, but everyone of the PCH's I have shot was excellent and would be my first choice.

I shot all three take downs at the show in Kalamazoo in 2011, shot the pch the best and ordered one.  I tend to shoot more upright and have no problems.
Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

I had a PCH and and I do gap shoot . I shoot 3 under and the shorter sight window actually made it easier to gap .
