Is there a good book available on wooden arrow building? Im not wanting to make the shafts from raw materials yet.

Not a single book, but there's a chapter on building wooden arrows by Gabriella Cosgrove (KustomKing Arrows ) in Volume 3 of the Traditional Bowyer's Bible.

G. Fred Asbel has a chapter on building wooden arrows in his first Instinctive Shooting book.

There's also a good chapter on building wooden arrows in T..J. Conrad's Traditional Bowhunter's Handbook.

Just about everyone who has written a book about traditional archery describes how to build wooden arrows.  Will learn a lot of other interesting stuff about traditional archery with either of these books as well.

Of course, there's also U-Tube, and a few folks have CDs out as well.

Have fun.

I've read those that Orion mentions, and a few more. Personally, I find T.J. Conrad's book the most informative, and the best read.

Chapter 10 in TBBIII is about building wood arrows by Gabriela Cosgrove.
