can someone help me how you know you have proper alignment to the target so you arent shooting left or right of it? seems longer ranges my alignment is poor, thanks for the help

You can look in a mirror and make sure everything is lined up. It might  just be showing up at longer distances  because it amplifies any for mistakes. Just spit balling here

Have someone stand behind you and place an arrow on your shoulder blades when you are at full draw. The arrow should be pointed at the target. There is a lot more to alignment than that, but it's a start.

Canting your bow brings the arrow under your eye more. A consistent anchor point ( rear sight) And actually eyeballing the arrow to line it up until it is second nature.

Come to full draw and sight down your arrow from the nock end to the point. Move your head left or right till you are looking right down the shaft, just like aiming a shotgun. Do this while aiming at your intended target.
