If you are looking for a R/D Longbow that comes with a recurve style grips and a cut to center shelf, take a look at Kegan McCabe's Omega Longbows. Very fast, hard hitting bows even with heavier hunting arrows. Price is hard to beat as well. I have read nothing but good stuff about them and actually have one on order.

I recently gave this bow to a younger guy that did not like the larger straight grips that are on my Hill style bows.

Wow, lots of info!
So I picked up a used Centaur chimera, for my first foray into this style bow, price was right and it looks like new!
Been playing with it a couple weeks now. Although the grip did not seem to look like it would locate my hand as much, I found that it actually is very good.
And I can shoot it very well! My group sizes and placement are really really good! So I am happy.
This bow is only 54in long and 40 @ 28, I draw 27 in, and it is smooth!
I also have on order one of Blackrivers takedown style hybrids.
From the traveling bow reviews I feel this should be a good one as well!

I need to correct the above, the young man insisted that I take his money, I have yet to cash the check.

I've said it before, I'll say it again - I can't get enough of my 3 piece Schafer Silvertip Longbow! Checkered grip, riser mass, fast and silent... I'm quite pleased!

I haven't shot any of the short R/D longbows out there, like the Thunderhorn Heartstopper or Big Jims Thunderchild yet...
