Can anyone tell me if the shelf is cut past center? I’m trying to measure it but I don’t think I’m doing it right. Just wanting to know because I’m trying to use a spine calculator to see what arrow will work. I just got this riser and limbs in, waiting for the right length string for it and all I have for it are 2016 aluminum arrows. I think those will work fine. Maybe I’m just overthinking the tuning for it.

More info, the limbs are 50lbs@28”, my draw is 27 1/2” and the 2016’s are already cut down to 28”.

Is this the newer handle and new limbs or older limbs? What string are you going to use?
Yes, the handle is cut past center but you can adjust that side plate depending upon the diameter of the shaft you use. 2016’s are 5/16” diameter so you may have to move that side plate outwards. Remember you don’t want to shoot a bow with the arrow past center.

The adjustment is easy on the new ones.A nice feature for tuning.
I think I would want various wieght points for your 2016s to tune them. From 125 to 200 grains.I think you can get those 2016s to work with your draw length, arrow length and the poundage of your limbs.

Yes you may get those 2016’s to work with 125 grain points, doubt with anything heavier. If it were mine I’d be using 2018’s.

Finally shot this today. Bareshafts hitting right with 125 and 145 grain. I’m stuck on the length of these but I have some 2018’s that I could make up and try. According the calculator I should of been close with 2016 and 2018 shows to be way too stiff. Does this sound right?
