Tom Cole Old Timer longbow
« on: February 01, 2017, 02:55:00 PM »
Picked up a Tom Cole Old Timer longbow today at an antique shop. 68" 60@27, what appears to be maple riser with yew limbs. Decal says "Setting Sun" on the belly. Anyone have any info, brace height?

With tom's bows I would start with 6&1/4" from the belly side  of the grip.  You may be able to tolerate, as low as 6", but if it seems harsh to your set up 6.5" may be better for you.  I would not put a fast flight on it.
