First off welome to Utah. It's nice to see another traditionalist here, there are not many in this state. Now I haven't live in northern for 25 years so take this info lightly. Right now rabbits and chuckers are all that are left in season this year. Cotton tails are thick this year. I see a few on the Wastch front but there are tons in the west desert,Cedar fort Tooele valley ect.. Snowshoes I have the best luck in the Uinta's and around Scofield area. In the cotton woods I gotten into them in the Dounut falls area, days fork, white pine area. Chuckers are all over the Wastch front face. Look at Furgeson canyon, Nefs canyon and Mt. Olympus area. If you can't fine any rabbits in Northern Utah just head south there are plenty in Southern Utah.
