I am considering a Dwyer Endeavour and would first like some feedback if you either currently own one or have owned one.  I would like your honest opinions, pros, cons.  Thanks in advance.

I'll be watching this thread. Ever since I saw one on a hunting dvd, I've been really interested in them. They look nice, and are reasonably priced as well.

Well I have a Dauntless and it's very well built and absolutely beautiful .
I think Dwyer don't make any junk .

I've shot all four of Dave's bows, the Endeavor was the sweetest shooting and smoothest drawing of the lot. I had to break the piggy bank and borrow a little more from the wife that day.
They are super nice people and they put a lot of pride in their work.

Doug,

I owned an Endeavor for a while.  I live not far from Dave and was able to drive over to his house and shoot a bunch of his in-stock bows.

Now, I have a 30 1/2" draw, and while that bow was smooth out to my draw..maybe just hitting the end of it...I could just never get the consistency I wanted.  My release is always my weak point and I think it was the extra finger pinch of that short bow with a longer draw that wouldn't allow me personally to get the performance I wanted.  Someone else with a longer draw may do just fine with it.

I have nothing bad to say about the bow itself, the workmanship, etc. was superb.  It was a beauty and with all my heart I wanted that bow to work out for me.  I just shoot better with longer bows.

Here's a couple pics of it, just for fun:

I own/have owned all of daves models and I think that overall his endeavor is probably his best shooting bow.  Didn't notice any finger pinch at 28" plenty fast and quiet. Good bow.  The grip is a very mild locator requiring u to heel it like a true longbow. If you're serious I'd get on the list as he's over a year out on orders as told to me last week.

Dave builds one heck of a bow !!!  It would be hard to find a nicer guy as well. I had a very tough time deciding between the Endeavor and Dauntless model at Denton Hill last year. Ended up ordering another Dauntless, since I have been kicking myself since I sold the one I had. Supposed to be due around the end of April. Really don't think you can go wrong with any of the bows from Dwyer. If Dave's waiting time is over a year now, that tells you something.

The Endeavor was my first custom bow 64@29". The draw is very smooth with no stack. They are a working piece of art. Over the last few years I thought I would try some other R/D bow but keep going back to my Endeavor. Like said above Dave is very nice and will take the time you need when placing your order. The wait may be long but well worth it.
Take the long way around.
