Flight gloves

So it was a little cold one of the last days of our and on a whim I grabbed my Nomex aviation gloves. Before I got off into the woods too far I tested it a few times to see how it felt compared to my Damascus glove. Honestly it wasn't bad! I could feel the string well but it didn't cut into my fingers or anything. Will have to start use it more often.

Wondering how many guys on here have aviation gloves. Might not get a lot of comments.

I had to Google them, lol... I team roped for years and the cotton gloves that I used keep me about as warm as anything I have ever used. They cost less than a dollar to boot. Stay warm, what ever you use.

I still have a pair of Nomex gloves. They have seen better days, but I still occasionally wear them while hunting. In a pinch, they work as a shooting glove, but I'll stick with more conventional shooting stuff.

Haven't seen a pair of them since '75.

I used nomex a lot when I was in the air force. Always like the dexterity they provided but the thin leather and weaker stitching didn't last long.

Use one on my bow hand, but a tab on my naked string hand. I did not find them terribly warm when I was stationed in AK, but tactile touch is terrific
